英語で道を聞かれたらどう答える？
今回は、英語で道を聞かれた時、徒歩の場合、電車の乗り換えなどご説明します♪
道を聞く時のフレーズ
- Could you tell me how to get to ~?
~への行き方を教えてください。
- Do you know where ~ is?
~はどこかご存知ですか？
道案内のフレーズ
- Follow me, please. I will take you there.
ついてきてください。お連れします。
- Go straight along this street.
この通り沿いにまっすぐ行ってください。
street とroadの違い
“street” とは町中にある「通り」を表す。 “road” は「車両が通る固められた道」という意味で、舗装された「道路」という意味もある。
- Go straight along this street until you can see ~ on your right.
〜が右に見えるまでまっすぐ行ってください。
- Go straight and past ~.
通り沿いにまっすぐ行って、~を通り過ぎてください。
- Go straight and turn right at ~.
~の角を右に曲がってください。
- Cross the crosswalk.
横断歩道を渡ってください。
- Cross the crossing towards to ~.
交差点を~の方向に渡ってください。
- Turn left at the third right.
三つ目の信号を右に曲がってください。
- Go underground.
地下に降りてください。
- You’ll see the stairs, go up the stairs.
階段が見えてきますので、その階段を上がってください。

階段を下がる go down the stairs
- A is next to B.
Aは、Bの隣にあります。
- A is across B.
Bの向かいにあります。
- A is front of B.
AはBの前にあります。
- A near B.
AはBの近くにあります。
- It takes 10 minutes by bus.
バスで10分程度です。

電車の乗り換え案内
- Take ~ line and get off at the second station.
~線に乗って、二つ目の駅で降りてください。
- Take ~ line and change the train at TOKYO station to B line.
~線に乗って、東京駅でB線に乗り換えてください。
